The Cardinals were out of bench players after the first inning, after catcher Cody Stanley (right arm) was lifted following his strikeout. Stanley later said he felt an odd sensation around his elbow but should be fine. Third baseman Patrick Wisdom was off the lineup card and is day-to-day because of an undisclosed situation, manager Mike Shildt said.
