Cardinals & Peoria Announce Player Development Extension Through 2020

The St. Louis Cardinals announced today that they have agreed to a four-year extension of their player development contract (P.D.C.) with the Peoria (Ill.) Chiefs of the Midwest League (A). Previously contracted through 2016, the newly-announced extension carries through the 2020 season.

The St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday agreed to a four-year extension on their player development contract with their Class A affiliate, the Peoria Chiefs of the Midwest League. The deal runs through the 2020 season. Prior to the extension, the contract was set to expire at the end of the 2016 season.
