The St. Louis Cardinals have announced that first baseman Matt Adams will join the Memphis Redbirds on an injury rehabilitation assignment for a left calf strain. Adams is expected to be in the Memphis lineup tonight as the Redbirds continue their current homestand at AutoZone Park throughout the week.
