Prospect outfielder James Ramsey is close to being activated from the disabled list, manager Mike Shildt said. He'll hit during batting practice today for the first time since being disabled, the result of crashing into the outfield wall on May 16 and injuring his right shoulder. Ramsey, rated No. 8 among Baseball America's Top 30 St. Louis Cardinals prospects, is batting .305 with 11 home runs and 28 RBIs.
