Taking Petrick's spot here is high Class A Palm Beach left-hander Kyle Hald, an 18th-round draft pick in 2011 out of Old Dominion. He'll make his Double-A debut tonight as Springfield opens a four-game series against the Royals' Texas League affiliate, Northwest Arkansas. Hald is 2-0, 2.13 ERA, although he has allowed 11 hits in 12 innings.
