City Would Pay $20 Million For AutoZone Park, Plus $5 Million For Improvements, In Proposed Deal

The City of Memphis would take on $25 million in debt to buy AutoZone Park in a multiparty deal that would also see the St. Louis Cardinals take control of the Memphis Redbirds, according to a document with details of the agreement that was received Sunday by The Commercial Appeal.
