The St. Louis Cardinals have announced that RHP Michael Wacha and RHP Carlos Martinez, both members of the St. Louis 40-Man Roster, will join the Springfield Cardinals for the rest of the Texas League season.
The Springfield Cardinals will have two recent big-leaguers on the roster this weekend, as the St. Louis Cardinals optioned right-hander Carlos Martinez here on Friday, a day after optioning Michael Wacha to the Double-A club.
