Pete Parise Pitches Near No-Hitter For Lincoln Against Fargo-Moorhead

Lincoln needed just two runs to defeat Fargo-Moorhead 2-0 thanks to the heroics of Saltdogs RHP Pete Parise (pictured), who held a no-hitter until allowing a RedHawks single in the ninth inning. Parise pitched a complete game and walked just two batters in addition to allowing just one hit on his way to his first shutout of the season. Until finally walking a batter in the sixth, Parise had held a perfect game through five innings.
