John Gast, Boone Whiting Earn Shots At Higher Levels In Cardinals Organization
Of all days to attempt a two-city doubleheader, today may be it. Left-hander John Gast, who spun off almost 30 scoreless innings earlier this season, makes his big-league debut for the St. Louis Cardinals tonight at Busch Stadium.
