Chris Edmondson Helps Lead Rockland To Doubleheader Sweep Over New Jersey

The Rockland Boulders jumped on the New Jersey Jackals early scoring four runs in the top of the first inning and would cruise from there to an 8-3 win in game one of a doubleheader. Rockland 3B Stephen Cardullo (pictured) had a solid game at the plate going 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI. Boulders LF Chris Edmondson chipped in with his league-lead-tying fifth home run of the season, along with scoring two runs and driving in three. Boulders starting pitcher Pat Moran tossed a complete game en route to his second win of the season. Moran allowed one earned run on five hits and fanned nine batters.
