The St. Louis Cardinals announced today that they have recalled right-handed pitcher Victor Marte from Memphis (AAA) and optioned right-handed pitcher Carlos Martinez to the triple-A club. Marte is expected to be in uniform (#66) for the Cardinals series opener in Kansas City this afternoon.
