The St. Louis Cardinals have optioned pitcher Mitchell Boggs to Memphis (AAA) today and purchased right-handed pitcher Keith Bulter from Springfield (AA). Butler will be available for tonight's game and wear uniform #65.
After blowing a save opportunity Thursday night, Mitchell Boggs was optioned to Triple-A Memphis on Friday. The Cardinals have called up right-handed pitcher Keith Butler from Double-A Springfield to fill his roster spot.
