Mike Shildt Talks Catching Situation In Wake Of Travis Tartamella's Promotion ]
With prospect right-hander Carlos Martinez back on board, the plan was to send his so-called personal catcher of last season, Travis Tartamella, to serve as his battery mate Tuesday night. But those plans got torn up Monday after Tartamella was sent to Triple-A Memphis in order to cover for injured catcher J.R. Towles.
