Zach Russell, Quad Cities Blank Wisconsin

Bandit starter Zach Russell (5-7) dominated Wisconsin hitters on Saturday night, allowing just three hits in seven innings of work. The right-hander struck out six and walked only one. Russell has now won four of his last five starts after winning only one game in his first nine starts.
Zach Russell had a hard act to follow Saturday night at Modern Woodmen Park.

After watching Indianapolis Colts linebacker Pat Angerer throw a strike with a ceremonial first pitch, the Quad-Cities right-hander delivered.
