Bernie Bytes 7-18-11: Disappointing Series For Cardinals
The Cardinals blew a great opportunity to push the Reds into a deeper hole in the NL Central. It was an irritating series to watch from a St. Louis perspective. The Cardinals gave away Friday's game. Sunday, it was astounding to see their offense manage only one run, on a homer by Lance Berkman, against Reds pitcher Homer Bailey.
