Iowa Wins Third Straight Over Memphis, 5-3
Bryan LaHair and Welington Castillo connected on back-to-back home runs which proved to be the difference for the Iowa Cubs (34-42) in a 5-3 victory over the Memphis Redbirds (39-36) Friday night. The Cubs took the series 3-2 over the Redbirds. A crowd of 13,549 was on hand for the series finale, a new high for the season and ninth all-time on the Iowa attendance list.
