Cardinals Minor League Notebook 5-8-11
Nick Stavinoha, Tony Cruz homer but Memphis loses fifth straight. Matt Adams hits a two-run homer while Ryan Jackson and Nick Derba add solo shots but Springfield goes down in second consecutive game. Justin Smith strikes out six over seven innings, but Palm Beach is shut out. Carlos Martinez, Kevin Siegrist team for Quad Cities two-hit shutout.
