With a victory on Monday night, the Cardinals were in a good position to take two of three from Midland with a win on Tuesday morning with opening day starter Scott Schneider on the mound.
Brett Zawacki uncorked a two-out balk in the bottom of the 13th inning Tuesday, allowing Grant Green to score the winning run and lift the Midland RockHounds to a 2-1 victory against the Springfield Cardinals.
