Cardinals infielder Nick Punto will be out for approximately 8-12 weeks after being diagnosed with athletic pubalgia, commonly referred to as a sports hernia.
Utility infielder Nick Punto has been diagnosed with a sports hernia that will require surgery, the team announced this afternoon.
