Cubs Insist Focus Is On This Season, Not Albert Pujols
When Chicago Cubs Chairman Tom Ricketts, in his second full year of his family's ownership of the team, spoke at the club's first full-scale workout last weekend, he indicated that the Cubs would be in financial position to go after players next offseason rather than this past one, in which they cut payroll some 10 percent.
