Underwelming Vs. Underdogs
After inexplicably losing a series at PNC Park during which the woebegone Pittsburgh Pirates defeated Adam Wainwright and Jake Westbrook in back-to-back games, St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony La Russa summed up the team's goals thusly to on-site reporters: "We have a very consistent philosophy of winning the series."
