Colorado Springs Cools Memphis Bats
At the end of a 98-degree afternoon, a frustrated Mark Hamilton "stayed after school" in AutoZone Park's indoor batting cage. Pumping and pumping at pitch after pitch, the Memphis Redbirds first baseman was trying for the kind of contact he and his teammates couldn't get in a 3-1 loss to Colorado Springs on Sunday before 6,279.
