The Cardinals announced on Monday that left-hander Nate Robertson signed with a Minor League contract with the organization, bringing the nine-year veteran to Triple-A Memphis. Robertson started 18 games for the Marlins this season, and last started on July 20. He was released by Florida on July 27.
Lefty Nate Robertson has agreed to a minor-league deal with the St. Louis Cardinals and will report to the team's Class AAA affiliate Memphis and join its pitching staff.
