Ryan Ludwick Rehabs With Baby Birds; Cardinals To Talk With Austin Wilson; Kyle Lohse Feels Good After Simulated Game; Worth Noting

Ryan Ludwick shook off the rust quickly at Triple-A Memphis for his first rehab start, going 1-for-3 with a home run in the first inning. Starter Lance Lynn dominated the Omaha hitters, going 6 2/3 innings while striking out 11 and giving up two runs on four hits.

The Cardinals turned themselves into college coaches hosting a high-school recruit Wednesday at Busch Stadium when they welcomed 12th-round draft choice Austin Wilson and his family to town.

Kyle Lohse is eying a rehab start on Monday after throwing a 40-pitch simulated game to hitters Wednesday at Busch Stadium.
