Greg Amsinger & Jack Clark On The Fast Lane 7-27-10

MLB Network broadcaster Greg Amsinger joins The Fast Lane. Amsinger says Zambrano has too much baggage--this is worse than Milton Bradley. Randy wonders how much of Zambrano's behavior caused Lou Piniella to decide to retire. This, coupled with Milton Bradley, accelerated his departure, Amsinger says. When the Cubs were swept in 2008, Amsinger says Piniella lost his zest. Amsinger thought it was pretty cool as a St. Louis native that he was able to narrate Whitey Herzog's video at the Hall of Fame induction. Amsinger thinks Walt Jocketty is going to have a huge week for the Reds, who might have an inside track on Roy Oswalt. He wouldn't be shocked if the Reds dealt Aroldis Chapman for a missing piece like Chris Young or Oswalt. If Chapman is the carrot, the Reds could get whatever they want.
