An unfamiliar new pitch and a recalcitrant new one added up to somewhat frustrating results for Brad Penny on Friday, but the right-hander wasn't the slightest bit concerned. Penny brushed off a two-inning, six-hit, three-run Spring Training debut vs. the Mets, noting that he threw many more sinkers and split-fingered fastballs than he would have if the game had counted.
