Pete Parise, a 2007 Pitt graduate and four-year letterman of the baseball team was recently selected as the Memphis Redbirds 2009 Reliever of the Year after he successfully led his team to the Triple-A Pacific Coast League Champion title and an appearance in the Triple-A National Championship series.
