Jamie Moyer underwent surgery Friday to repair two torn groin muscles and a lower abdominal tear. He has rejoined the Phillies and said he's walking one mile a day on the treadmill. Moyer, who will make a $6.5 million base salary next year, is expected to be ready for spring training.
"I have not taken one pain pill," he said. "I have not had any discomfort. I have limitations, obviously, because I just had a surgery. But I also realize it's going to take three months for the mending to really take place."
