Braden Looper & Felipe Lopez (Brewers):
How crazy? Consider that when Wainwright took a curtain call in the seventh, he had a 6-1 lead and was nine outs from his 20th win. Across the field in the visitors' dugout, Brewers starter Braden Looper had surrendered six runs on 10 hits and was in line to finish the year with consecutive losses.

Jeff Suppan (Brewers):
As for Sunday, Macha remained surprisingly vague despite the fact Suppan threw a bullpen session on Friday afternoon and said he was interested in reaching 30 starts for the 11th consecutive season. The only active pitcher with a longer streak is Livan Hernandez, who made 30 starts for the Mets and Nationals this season and has reached the milestone in 12 consecutive seasons.

Jack Wilson (Mariners):
Two months ago, Jack Wilson arrived in Seattle brimming with excitement. His upbeat mood was only uplifted when he literally walked into Safeco Field as Ken Griffey Jr. was hitting a game-winning double in the seventh inning to beat Toronto.
