Many baseball fans have turned their attention from the games at hand to the playoffs. It is easy to understand why fans of a club like the Pirates or Royals would be more interested in a possible New York Boston playoff game than if their team loses 100 games. The same can be said for fans of teams that are wildly ahead in the playoff race and with most teams already having locked up their playoff spot what is there to get excited about?
