It's another gorgeous night at Busch Stadium. The scoreboard in the bullpen reads 80 degrees at 6:46 pm, and that's about as nice as you can ask for in St. Louis in late July. Great stuff.
Obviously, You're Not A Golfer
Shortstop Brendan Ryan remained on the active roster with a golf ball-sized knot on his left ankle. While active, manager Tony La Russa said the shortstop was “very limited” when it came what he could do today and this weekend. GM John Mozeliak called the five-day estimate “very optimistic.” But the schedule, he added, is very forgiving.
