Ex-Cardinals Watch 7-14-09: Chris Narveson Outrighted; Tyler Herron & Jolbert Cabrera Hit D.L.; Dmitri Young Rehab Assignment; Ryan Bird An All-Star

Dmitri Young (Nationals):
The Potomac Nationals announced after their 7-3 victory against the Lynchburg Hillcats on Monday that Washington Nationals' first baseman Dmitri Young will be joining the team for Tuesday afternoon's 12:05 ET game against the Hillcats.

Tyler Herron (Pirates):
Double-A Altoona placed him on the 7-day disabled list with a right foot blister.

Jolbert Cabrera (Orioles):
Triple-A Norfolk placed him on the 7-day disabled list with a right anklie injury.

Terry Evans (Angels):
Salt Lake's Terry Evans advanced to the second round with five home runs, but only connected for one more. Lehigh Valley's Andy Tracy was the third player to rack up five home runs in the first round, but his 15 regular-season homers were not enough to overcome the tiebreaker against Duncan's 21 and Evans' 17, so he did not advance.
