The Cardinals activated infielder Khalil Greene from the disabled list prior to Thursday night's series finale against the Detroit Tigers at Busch Stadium and optioned outfielder Nick Stavinoha to Triple-A Memphis.

In addition, the club has also recalled RHP Josh Kinney from Triple-A Memphis. To make room on the roster the team optioned outfielder Nick Stavinoha and RHP P.J. Walters to Triple-A.
