Heisler led South Alabama with a .390 average. He had 14 doubles, stole 16 bases in 23 attempts, and was second on the team with 45 RBIs. He will have until Aug. 17 to decide whether to sign with the Cardinals or return to the Jaguars for his senior year.
"Adam was drafted much later than everybody anticipated," said Kittrell. "He's got a lot of tools, so if he decides to come back he'll have a shot to go much higher next year. He'll make a decision based on what's best for him, and we'll be behind him either way."
