All fans put a premium on "their guys," it's just the nature of the business...the business of being a fan that is. Cardinals fandom is a different lot, known for their acumen of the game and tireless dedication, there's a reason we're called the best in baseball. However, sometimes it seems like that leads to players being overvalued for sentimental reasons, because their scrappy. So I ask you, do Cardinal fans fall in too deep for players with a good story and enough scrappiness to get them by for half a season?
