- Chris Perez outing was not horrible, could of been worse. Not very sharp.
- Joe Thurston looked really good turning the double play, has impressed Hal McRae with bad speed.
- Still question marks on Thurston's arm strength, but quick hands.
- Skip Schumaker looked a little better in the double play, probably best defensive performance in camp today.
- The experiment will continue with Schumaker, but Thurston and Brendan Ryan could get more time.
- Ryan calling in sick has rubbed the team wrong, especially with the doubleheader today.
- Khalil Greene turned the ball very well on his home run, keeping the ball fair instead of going foul.
- Greene looking real good right now, has a lot to prove.
- Greene is very happy to be out of San Diego.
- Team working with Colby Rasmus to get him off the power and pull swing, more swinging for average and more shots in the gap for extra bases.
- Bryan Anderson has an average MLB arm, gets the job done but it's 'rough'. Not many scouts are raving about him, backup catcher at best. Line drive hitter.
