I'll tell you how to help the Redbirds' financial woes (March 15 article, "Redbirds hope to rally") -- lower the prices of the concessions.
The price to get into a game is reasonable, but once in, game-goers can drop a lot of cash for the obligatory hot dog, peanuts and a drink.
Families can't afford it, so they don't go. The Redbirds have major league prices for a minor league team.
