Ex-Cardinals Watch 10-12-08: Jim Edmonds FA, Jaime Moyer Starting Game 3 NLCS, J.D. Drew & Coco Crisp WSwitch

Jim Edmonds(Cubs):
Free Agent
Offseason Could Be Busy One For Cubs

Jaime Moyer(Phillies):
Relatively dormant through the first 12 innings of the National League Championship Series, Manny Ramirez sent shock waves through Citizens Bank Park when he hit a critical three-run homer in Friday's Game 2. That signaled bad news for the Phillies at the time, and perhaps even worse news for Game 3 starter Jamie Moyer.

J.D. Drew & Coco Crisp(RedSox):
J.D. Drew missed the last month-and-a-half of the regular season due to a herniated disk. Because of the injury, there was some doubt whether or not he would be able to perform at such an intense level that's needed in October.

Boston outfielder J.D. Drew was out of the lineup Saturday night for Game 2 of the AL Championship Series, though manager Terry Francona said the move was not injury-related.
