Adam Wainwright makes his third and perhaps final minor-league rehab appearance tonight at Class AA Springfield. However, on a day when Chris Carpenter's availability fell into question for at least the remainder of August, the Cardinals remained decidedly noncommittal about when and how Wainwright will be asked to contribute.
