The next step in the Mark Mulder saga will come tonight when Mulder is examined at Comerica Park by Dr. George Paletta and the Cardinals' medical staff. Mulder, on the rehabilitation trail from shoulder operations in 2006 and 2007, missed a minor-league start for Class AAA Memphis on Monday in Nashville, Tenn., when he experienced back spasms.
