P.J. Walters held Nashville scoreless through four innings Sunday, before being taken out of the game at 79 pitches, because he was pitching on short-rest, limited to a 75-pitch limit, but 79 pitches would be all he needed to take home the Birdhouse, ‘Pitcher of the Day’ honors.
