Two outstanding pitching performances highlight the night. Jaime Garcia shut out Tucson to win for Memphis while Jess Todd blanked Arkansas for six innings on only two hits. Palm Beach received another solid effort from Shaun Garceau, while Quad Cites lost another date to the rain. The VSL Cards played extras but not long enough for their first winner.
