Memphis Mailbag

I'm going to Florida in a couple of weeks for Spring Training. Do the Redbird games start at the same time as the MLB club's games? Are they open to the public? Scott, Memphis

Hey Scott, All minor league games start at 12 EST on the back fields of the Cardinals and Marlins Complex. If the Cardinals or Marlins are in town playing at Roger Dean Stadium their game starts at 1 p.m. EST. The best part about the minor league games is that they're free and anyone can come. The Cardinals side of the complex is set up exactly like a little league complex with four fields. Fans can watch players from four different levels at the same time at the same place. The Redbirds will also be sending a contingent to Florida on March 18, so check the site for updates.
