In their final home exhibition game, the Cardinals trotted out nine pitchers in nine innings. Some were minor leaguers, and righthander Mike Mayers, who started the game, came to camp with that designation.

Dexter Fowler started in right field and led off in the Cardinals' Spring Training contest against the Mets on Saturday, going 1-for-3 with a run scored. In the bottom of the fifth inning, though, he was subbed out for defensive replacement Adolis Garcia, leaving him with four more innings of baseball to kill.

Cardinals Announce 2018 Spring Training Schedule & Ticket Information

The St. Louis Cardinals announced their 2018 Spring Training schedule today. The team's 30-game Grapefruit League slate is set to begin on Friday, February 23 at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fla., as the visiting team against their complex co-tenants, the Miami Marlins, and will conclude on Sunday, March 25.

Before swinging by Canada on the way to opening day in New York City, the Cardinals will play a total of 18 exhibition games at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fla., their spring training home for the past two decades.
