Carson Kelly & Alex Reyes To Represent Cardinals In 2016 Futures Game; Garry Templeton Named As Coach
The crystal ball that is the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game has been polished and is once again ready to predict the future stars of Major League Baseball.

Memphis Redbirds right-handed pitcher Alex Reyes, the top prospect in the St. Louis Cardinals organization and seventh-ranked in baseball, was selected to the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game, which will be played in San Diego during All-Star festivities.

Alex Reyes Selected For 2015 Futures Game
A quick look at last year's SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game rosters should provide enough motivation to tune in to the prospect-laden game on All-Star Sunday, July 12, at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.

St. Louis Cardinals prospect Alex Reyes has been named to the World Team roster for the upcoming All-Star Futures Game on July 12th. The 20-year old Reyes is currently on the 7-day disabled list, but has posted 90 strikeouts in 60.2 innings pitched this season for the Palm Beach Cardinals (High A). He has allowed just 10 earned runs combined in his last 10 appearances (50.1 innings).

Ronni Tapia - Third Baseman
Tapia was perhaps the most difficult player to evaluate in the entire group. He’s young in age, with his 16th birthday approaching, with a long and lean 6-foot-3, 175-pound build. He’s also very young in actions and does a number of things on the field that emphasize that he is 15 years old. But he is a plus raw athlete with 6.89 speed and a beautiful running stride to go with big right-handed bat speed and a project-able plus throwing arm. The package is nowhere close to coming together but if you look closely enough you see all the ingredients to a very talented young prospect.
