They beat the 1982 Brewers, 4-2, and they will next play the ‘57 Braves, who defeated the 2001 D-backs.

He Was The Cardinals' Best Utility Player Of All Time
On May 14, 1988, José Oquendo really became the player who could do it all. The Cardinals' utility man pitched four innings in a 19-inning game against the Braves, and though he suffered the loss in a 7-5 defeat after allowing two runs in the 19th, Oquendo put together a performance that was entertaining and admirable.
