52nd round selection Patrick Wisdon signed with the Cardinals for $969,700 and is expected to be assigned to Single-A Batavia.

Cardinals had interest in Michael Dimock, who was selected in the 37th round by the Astros.

5th round selection Alex Mejia talks about bulking up and changing his eating habits in order to draw attention & improve.

Domnit Bolivar hits for the cycle, Shelby Miller strikes out nine in Springfield extra-inning victory. Cody Stanley knocks in five runs, Starlin Rodriguez four as Quad Cities runs up the score in win. George Araujo hits first pro homer in DSL loss.

Jake Westbrook Ready To Go; Starters In Camp; Cardinals Sign Fernando Gonzalez & Jorge Araujo; Zack Cox In Camp Early

Although he got a head start on his acclimation by finishing last season with the Cardinals, starter Jake Westbrook says there will be plenty new about his first spring training with the club.
The St. Louis Cardinals have agreed to terms with a 16-year-old pitcher and a 17-year-old outfielder from the Dominican Republic, team officials confirmed.
