Last year, Tim McCarver said he had a “tremendous experience” serving as analyst on 30 Cardinals games televised by Fox Sports Midwest. It was a nice landing spot for McCarver, whose record-smashing 34-year run as a network television baseball analyst, which included doing 24 World Series, had just ended.

The St. Louis Cardinals and The Cordish Companies announced today that FOX Sports Midwest, the television home of the Cardinals, will build a new studio in Ballpark Village and that the 20,000-square-foot entertainment marketplace that is the heart of the district will be known as FOX Sports Midwest LIVE! as part of a multi-year naming rights agreement.
