Series Preview: Cardinals @ Marlins August 6-8, 2018
The Marlins (46-67) own the second-worst record in the National League and have lost six consecutive games. The series will mark the first time Cardinals outfielder Marcell Ozuna plays at his former-home stadium. Ozuna spent the first five seasons of his career in Miami before the Cardinals traded for him this past winter.

Kevin Siegrist Goes On The Disabled List; Brett Cecil Makes Contact; Jedd Gyorko Sits Again; Dexter Fowler Stymied
The Cardinals’ bullpen probably was overloaded with lefthanders at four. But that number was reduced by one Sunday when Kevin Siegrist, who has become less of an option in the Cardinals’ late-inning rotation lately, was placed on the 10-day disabled with left forearm tendinitis to make room for starter Adam Wainwright, who came off the DL.
