Adam Wainwright Has Good Outing, But Not So The Bullpen; Jack Flaherty, Miles Mikols, Brett Cecil To Go Outback; Francisco Pena Saturday, Jedd Gyorko Monday
The first Cardinals pitcher to last longer than five innings this spring was their oldest pitcher. Adam Wainwright, 37, worked 5 1/3 tidy innings Friday night. He held the Houston Astros to three hits, one of them a homer by Jake Marisnick, and two runs, one of which scored after he departed.
